I am pretty sure that Zoom does not support resale or used items but you can always try, or see if someone here has a copy of the software. Cubase LE |

After owning it for 5 years I busted this thing out again today. I only want to use it for a couple of songs in our set for some funky fuzz tones or maybe Bootsy type sounds. I was going to put it on top of my amp and run it through my send/return effects loop and engage the effect I want prior to each song. Nice to have the tuner there as well...
Although Ive used some foot pedals in the past, I'm really not an effects guy at all... I am a gear head, build my own basses, repair amps, but I cannot figure this thing out?? After reading the manual over and over again with values, patches, banks, etc... its all foreign to me. I've never played guitar or used other multi effects units of any kind. Am I missing "effects experience" and lingo here?
Also, not sure if the presets sounds are even quality enough for live use or does it take a lot of tweaking to get it to sound decent?

Look at post 75 & 76 for a step by step for creating your own patches.
Some of the preset sounds may be good starting places but IMO really need to be tweaked for your bass, playing style and preferred sound.
03, 24 or 25 may be a good Bootsy starting place or 39 for something a bit more extreme

The B3 (and B5 when released) have 3 parameter knobs more like the B9, there are sometimes more levels of control to grok, which looks promising and folks really seem to luv the B3 as the effects have been improved.
I am waiting for the B5 as that will suit my needs better than the B3. |

The B3 is like having three pedals in a chain where the B2 was a swiss knife where you didn't know exactly what effects that built up the good sound.
In the B3, you have instant control over all parameters of each effect. You may call it more user friendly...
The B2 is still a great product and you can have more than three effects at once. However, some of the B3 effects are dual-effects so you are able to use more than three effects at once.
But, I like the "new" concept of having three stomp boxes in a versatile switching system instead of having a lot of "patches". You can use the B3 in a patch-mode as well. But I like the manual mode better.

/MrBaloo | Yeah I checked out the B3, it seems to be more of what I was hoping the B2 was going to be when I bought it. Just having the simulation of 3 pedals in front of me or in my chain when seems more natural to me.. thanks guys! |

In the B2, you can start with one single effect, then add a little bit of that and a little bit of that. Then you may end up with a complex effect-chain that sounds great utilitizing more than three effects...
I definitely can see use of both type of pedals, maybe in a chain...

The other sheets have all of the parameters and sound options to help navigate and control sounds. All of the info is from the manual but it is spread out over many pages and I have changed some of the effect names to be more accurate and understandable to the American user.
Please take a look at the attached sheets and let me know what you think and by all means feel free to use the sheets. | Am I doing something wrong? I cannot get my freaking computer to open this file! |
