Zoom B2.1u - Should I have received a USB cable?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just received my B2.1u from ZZounds ... I was expecting to find a USB cable so that I could use Cubase, but there was none. Have others who have purchased this product received a cable, or have you gone out and purchased one?

I recently received a B2.1u from zZounds and it did not come with a USB cable. (Though I'm not complaining. I have several of those cables and don't need another.)

My B2.1u was the "POP" version. Yours?

not included. modern printer connections use the same usb cable. some modern computers include the cable standard.

What's the "POP" version? Are there versions to seek or avoid?

Check out Target, they usually have low to decent prices on USB cables.

This seems to be a given with many USB products, so I'm not surprised it didn't come with the Zoom since the USB interface is more a bonus feature rather than a main selling point. I've had printers that didn't come with a USB cable, even though that's the only way to hook it up to a computer to print! Any USB cable should be fine and can be bought cheaply.

you can just steal the one from your printer until you get another one d: its bus powered so thats a bonus if you lose your power adapter

POP

Bongo ... I wondered what the Pop version was, other than 30 bucks cheaper, myself. It is essentially a display model, mounted by Zoom for that purpose. It's exactly the same thing as the typical zoom, but it's mounted on a base ... take out four easy screws, and you've saved yourself a good bit of money.

ordered mine from zzounds yesterday and got it today!!!

Yeah, I bought the POP (point of purchase) version because it was $30 cheaper and brand new. It took a minute to unscrew it from the base, but that was worth the $30 savings for me.
