Attempted to clone my Wren and Cuff Box Of War which is a great, bass laden muff sound. I wasn't able to nail it with the B3 as the fuzz is so focused on the high end. Normally I'd try amp sims for massive EQ changes but that didn't work well in this case, plus the fuzz is so noisey you really want the ZNR in there which eats up a block.
Sorry, no sound clips yet. But try it and let me know what you think. |

I could set the amp sim, some sort of comp and maybe a noise supressor or eq on 4, 5, 6, and then have effects I'd actually want to turn on and off for 1, 2, and 3. I hear what some of you are saying on multiple amp sims overloading it, but couldn't you just make different patches for different sims? |

| | | | I'm just joining this and maybe I'm missing something. I'm using the B3 and enjoying it lots, but I'm surprised that there's not one shared patch in Edit and Share. When I go to Zoom online all that lists are the presets. Is that because no one has shared or because I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks for any guidance,
Jeremy |

Jeremy | Honestly, I don't recall there being any way to upload shared patches to some Zoom-hosted online repository. Someone educate me if there is as to my knowledge only Line6 is that smart. |

| | | | Interesting. I wonder what "share" in "edit and share" would otherwise mean. |

You can then choose to share these files with others so that they can import them into their B3.
Cheers!

| | | | Thank you CharlieC,
My question is whether other than Gastric anyone has shared their files. It would be great if there were a repository someplace.

Jeremy | Somewhere in the Effects forum there's a Zoom Patch Idea sharing thread. Though I don't think they're necessarily the raw edit app files, more of a text description of the settings. Unfortunately not a ton of sharing going on in general. Bass players are shy, apparently. |

| For the un-initiated .... there are currently 48 different B3 patches from various different users here to download direct into your own B3 and try out.
This list is being added to by anyone who wants to take the time to upload their own patches via " Edit & Share".
....................Get on board!

| If I were you I'd put the Sansamp in the cupboard and use the B3 exclusively.
The B3 has a Sansamp simulation anyway.
Ok, I grant you, it doesn't have all the features and adjustability of the genuine item, but it's pretty impressive!

This badboy has sidelined a lot of gear for me, including my fuzzrocious and way huge pedals. I really really li Ki e it.
Especially loving the bassman sim at the moment. Tight vintage goodness

With the B3, can I connect it to my Mac via USB, send my music in iTunes to the B3, and play along through the headphones? Thanks for any/all responses.
I had a B3 briefly, and I didn't really take the time to learn how to use it. I've since had a neighbor move in beside me with an infant, and they have complained about my bass being too loud while I practice. Yes I know I was there first, but I'll give them the fact that the walls in the condo are paper-thin, and they have been cool about it in that they have come to me first as opposed to taking up with management. So if I can use this to practice silently, I think I'll be picking one up again! |

One of the sweet aspects of the B3.
