just got very frustrating respond from Zoom regarding firmware for B3 supporting up to 6 effects just like the G3 does.

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, we don’t have the plan to release the new firmware of the B3.

Sincerely yours,
ZOOM CORPORATION"

bummer.
i really don't see how can that be a profitable move for any one :/

I guess all we can do is keep petitioning them via email.

So, if you're a B3 owner and you haven't emailed Zoom yet...
Here's the email address of Zoom.

Well, zoom anounced the MS60B at NAMM with up to 4 simultaneously effects... I dont get it, why not 6 like the guitar version?

First the G3/B3 difference and now this, they might have something against bass players.

I was hoping for a v2 of the B3 and a B3x at NAMM, but I guess that's never going to happen, shame on you zoom.

Someone said in another thread that Keymusic has a MS50B for sale, "temporarily out of stock", with 6 effects, but I'm sure that's not the real thing.

well i agree with you it is cool because it is so small.
if they would add to it the option of adding expression pedal just like the B3 does and make it up to 6 effects just like the G3 does i would be all over it.

I think I prefer the B3 because you can see all the 3 fx at once as 3 separate stompboxes. And also you have the loop recorder, the drummer and the D.I. wich are very handy for me.

Yeah, seems like you loose a lot in exchange for one more effect.

I like having expression control over rates and frequencies with the B3. I've been thinking about getting an MS60B to run in parallel with the rest of my setup though. I almost bought the guitar version but saw that a bass version is coming out.

Well, itīs ok, I still want to buy it as I need it as tool for rehearsing and live for the effects.
