Hi,
I just bought a B3, and that's really a great FX unit!
Lots of possibilities, in such a small box!

Thanks Crystalman and Ozzygreg to share your patches, that help me a lot to learn how to configure my B3.

At the moment, my favorite presets are :
1)Greg's OD Limit SVT

Section 1: Bass Muff: gain:52, tone:78, level:10, mode:BsBST, balance:45

Section 2: Limiter: Thrsh:18, Ratio:4, Level:98, REL:5

Section 3: SVT: bass:5, mid:4, treble:3, midfq:180hz, gain:70, level:46, Ultra:low, cab:SWR4x10, mix:48

2)Crystal's Vintage tube overdrive

Section 1: m comp: thresh:24, ratio:7, level:70, attack:5

Section 2: t-scream: gain:40, tone:50, level:80, balance:30

Section 3: svt: bass:4, mid:3, treble:5, midfq:300hz, gain:45, level:70, ultra: low, cab:ag8x10, mix:59

3)Crystal's SVT:
Section 3: svt: bass:4, mid:2, treble:3, midfq:350hz, gain:45, level:50, ultra:low, cab:ag8x10, mix:50

I'll share my own patches soon, after some fx explorations!

Anytime, doudoubbasse...the svt settings was something I've shared with ozzygreg, but I guess it can count as a patch idea. glad you've enjoyed one of our patches.

Thanks zomb13...I'm basically just a helping hand to those who needed nifty patch ideas to create on their zoom b3.

I downloaded Gastric's Bitcrusher and synth patches the other day. Very cool patches. I hadn't thought to run synths into octaves. I did find that I prefer my OC-2 going into stuff over the B3 octaves though. But the patches with the monosynth going into the B3 octaves were really nice.

Childishgambino,

Man, your Rainbow machine patches are right "out there"!
I would never use them live, but jeez they are certainly fun to play around with!

Thanks man. I never thought I'd use them either but I did use rainbow 1 last week. I play with me drums and a synth. And really worked well with my OC-2 running into the zoom for one of the jams we had. I've come up with a few more fairly weird patches. I'll post them later, I'm going go noodle around a bit.

Ok finally got round to having a decent play with the B3 hooked up to my pc. Tried out all the sounds that have been posted here so far & there are definitely several I'll be using on a regular basis so thanks loads guys.

By way of reward, here's a decent one I've knocked up in search of the one decent synth sound I used to be able to get from my Behringer BSY600 (honestly, it did have one usable sound!):

CRY: Range- 2; Reso- 8; Sense- 7; Bal- 100; Level- 100
Z-SYN: Wave- Saw; Decay- 72; Tone- 8; Freq- 3; Range- 9; Reso- 15; Synth- 100; Dry - 0; Level- 100
160 COMP: Thrsh- -22; Ratio- 4.0; Gain- 6; Knee- Hard; Level- 100

Here's a new patch that I've recently came up with. it is a beefy punchy patch that has strong lows and clarity. an excellent patch for hard rock and heavy metal music. especially if you're in a band with three guitarists.

True metal bass

Section 1: any effect you want

Section 2: exciter: bass:4, treble:5, level:90

Section 3: bassdrive: bass:3, treble:2, presence:2, gain:40, blend:70, level:90, mid:5

No problem neuman. Only thing that's missing is a hard gate to really isolate each note...that's a personal thing tho!

Hey Zoomies, can the B3 run a set of headphones without going thru a PC?

This one intrigues me. Can't wait to get home and check this one out, as it sounds like all the pedals I've been gassing for lately. I also can't wait til finals are done so I can try ALLLL the patches on the google drive page.
