Following my recent post about the octave effect I had a first look at what the G3 can do in the auto-wah department. There are several different types of auto-wah effect on the G3, but "the one" is the M-Filter, which really delivers. Surprisingly the default settings out of the box for the M-Filter are spot on for bass, having been set to LPF (low pass filter - just like the setting I use on my Mini Q-tron). With the "B3" apparently at the prototype stage (could be years before it is launched) those of you who are impatient or fed up with the hassle of connecting several pedals, the G3 does an amazingly good job, especially when considered with all the many other useful features.
