Zoom MS-50B?

Hey Talkbass, I was wondering if the Zoom MS-50B was coming out soon(if not then when) or would the MS-50G (Guitar one) work for compression and noise reduction?

From the online manual Zoom MS-50G Users Manual :

Sound input into the LineSel effect is sent directly to the OUTPUT jacks when OFF and to the next
effect in order when ON.

I don't think so after reading this.

I did try the guitar one- I THINK that the line selector is just a way of turning off a group of effects within a patch of 6 while keeping effects before the line selector still active.

I returned the unit only because it felt like an introduction to what could be so much more with different effects- I'll probably buy both the bass and chorus-delay-reverb ones.

I picked up an MS-50G just to see if it was as cool as it seemed, and because I like my B3 so much. While the OD's and distortions are ALL wrong for bass, they can be modded to work just fine, but that wasn't my focus. I like the modulations and delays, since my usual sound is CHORUS->DELAY, and for that, it's like a little B3. It even has a tuner too, so I knew I couldn't go wrong.
