Question Zoom pedal, "pop display"?

Sign in to disble this ad
So i'm looking into getting a
http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--ZOMB21U
Looks like the perfect pedal to start messing around and use as an interface with my computer and the drum machine makes it perfect for what i'm looking for.

Thing is there's a cheaper version "with POP Display"
but for the life of me i can't figure out what this "pop display" is.
is it an addition? and downgrade? what?

any help would be useful.

"POP" stands for "Point Of Purchase"; these units are mounted to a plastic display stand like they'd have on the counter of a music store. The stand is easily unscrewed from the bottom of the pedal. Everything else about the pedal is the same as the normal version.

I think it's just referring to some kind of promotional Point Of Purchase display materials. I have the cheaper B2 and it's display does no kind of poppage. I'd say go for it, it's a good pedal.

It just a plastic display stand you need to unscrew from the bottom of the unit. If you're alright with two minutes of screwdriver work you can save $30.

Haha! We're all so helpful here aren't we! How's that for a quick triple whammy response!

If I'm lurking on here in the afternoon it means I'm bored at work!

Tip For Trolling Forums at Work:
Type faster it looks like you're doing more work and you are too busy to be bothered.

I used this plus an old zoom bass pedal exclusively for all the acoustic & electric guitars on St Vytus' cd Super cool. I mothballed all my other pedals. I love it & I never even bothered programming my own sounds. They should give me an endorsement deal & loads of free stuff. The only drag with multi-effects is scrolling through from A1 to D12
