I did a search and didnt notice a thread about this pedal!
A music shop in town just got a zvex collection, and I noticed them buying some picks!
i fiddled around with the pedal and its AWESOME!

cause im even considering purchasing it!

I have an original seek wah, and love it. I'm not particularly sure what he upgraded to the II, but it does a good job for my purposes-which is usually to create a sort of vibrating ambient background texture via prunes&custard->seek wah. I almost always use it with the P&C because of the extra texture that gets wahhed, but with regular bass it's only really noticeable on mid to higher notes and chords.

+1, the nature of the band-pass filter is that it rolls off the lows a lot of the time. I would only use it in conjunction with a clean-blended signal in order to retain lows.

My guitarist has one and I steal it sometimes
I usually add the POG and the Mammoth to it to make a huge almost percussive sound

It's good fun
