3 Pickups and Active Preamp??

I was looking at a Fender bass that has a Darkstar size pickup under the neck and a P pickup, but my question is, if I add a J pickup in the bridge, can I run an active eq like an Aguilar OBP-3 on three pickups?? How would they be blended??

Yep but you'd need 3 volume pots (or equivalent) or switching.
