3 Pups???

Sign in to disble this ad
I've always loved Stu Hamm's tone, and recently I got to meet him and play "Mel", Stu's beloved red sparkle Urge II, ("Yeah I was grinning from ear to ear!"). Anyway dreams, from the time I started playing, came back, and I'm building a bass from Warmoth parts and Seymour Duncan pups. I was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion on which pups to use and wiring tips ( pup selector, rotary switch, toggle, etc..) since, from what I've seen, most active circuit diagrams just show two pups. The bass is: alder body, maple neck with pau ferro fretboard. Any advice appreciated!
