5-stg MM-shape bucker with blades or many poles?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a PJ bass where I was thinking of routing/fitting a MM type in the bridge/J position. Between the nonstandard location, and the narrow string spacing on this bass, I'm going to guess there may not be an off-the-shelf pup with pole-per-string spacing that will line up quite right.

So that makes me wonder, is there an MM type with either blades (like the SD Jazz stacks) or scads of poles (a'la Q-Tuner) so that pole alignment is a non-issue?

Thanks for the plug!

I do have them in MM cases, though I haven't put them on the site yet.

And they do indeed have blades.

Also Delano has blade MM. I liked a split-coil J they did with blades.
