5 String Fender jazz pickups for jazz music

What kind of 5 string jazz pickups are suited for jazz/funk/R&B styles?

The sticky on jazz pickups seemed concerned mostly with vintage/rock pickups, and were strictly for 4 strings.

I'm interested in passive pickups with non-exposed poles, but anything that fits the bill is fine. I'm looking for articulation and smooth output and versatility. Perhaps something to match an Audere Preamp. Any suggestions?

I played a Fender 24 V...they come stock with SD's....MAN! nice tone...a funk machine, IMO!
