You'll find that most pickups shaped like a MM will sound like a MM. That's pretty much the point of it. However you might find something like what you're asking through one of the makers of soapbar epoxy incrusted pickups. i.e. EMG and Bartolini.
Their pickups look like whatever shape it's got but the internals can be whatever fits under that epoxy mold. Give it a look over their website, you might find something in the range you're looking for.

IMO, pickup location has (a bit) more to do with sound than the type of pickup used. If your bass' MM rout is in the typical MM location, chances are you'll be disappointed in any pickup's ability to give you an authentic P sound. But as has been stated, there are a few MM-shaped options that may have the internals you want.

i'd kinda like the same for my stingray in a four string version. Bartolini does make several kinds of MM pups

+100

If you put a MM pup in the Pbass pup location (like I did!) and wire it up series, internally (like I did!), it WILL sound VERY much like a Pbass pup.

Good luck!

Well, that's kinda the G&L tone of the neck pickup. P-bass on steroids. Are you looking for just the pickup or an instrument that has such a beast?

Aren't there some quad-coil MM pups that can be wired like a split-coil P pup?
