500k Blend pot for Dimarzio Model J?

Sign in to disble this ad
Aight, I've been reading about the Model J's I have on the way and 500k pots seem to be whats recommended for these. Does this mean that I need my Vol/Blend/Tone pots to all be 500k or just the volume pot?

I would do 500K pots all around to preserve the treble.

try 500k linear volume, 500k audio tone, and 250k m/n blend, but leave all the ground connections off the blend pot. that way, the blend won't load down the signal and thus won't cause loss. the 250k blend would also pan a little more smoothly.

Ok, so the blend doesn't need to be grounded?
