5th string Pickups

Im a pickup newbie I know next to nothing about them. I wish to modify a bass soon and I might need to buy pickups could someone tell me a bit about 5th string pickup brands witch ones do you use or prefer? Looking for a metal sound, that might help.

Need more information. Bass they are going in? Price? Active or passive? Pickup shape?

Almost every pickup company makes 5 string pickups.

most likely a BC rich warlock, no more then 200-250, active and rectangular sitting horizontal in the bass.

Do you want active pickups or an active preamp?
What type of pickup is the bass routed for already?
Are you going to route it to fit what you want?
Are looking for 1 or 2 pickups?
