I bought a body off ebay, that has 6 holes drilled. My preamp I bought and the jack only make five holes. What can someone do for the extra hole, make another volume? A toggle? Its a jazz pickup setup with a seymour duncan STC-3A preamp. |

| | | | An all-controls bypass switch? To send the signal straight from the pickups to the output jack. |

| | | | Or...if you really want nothing there, buy a dowel rod the same size, finish it to match the body, and glue it in place.
Just a thought. |

You turn it when your sound is just the way you like it, but the producer/client wants that little extra, non-specific, something or other. You can even let them adjust it themselves to get exactly what they're looking for. |
