Bartolini MK Shape Soapbar Bass Pickups - 6 String

I'm thinking of order these as a birthday present to myself (8/16, I'll be 22). I have a Brice HXB-406 that I run active. Just making sure I can run these active. I know MK1s are active but I'd rather be 100% positive these are active as well. Thanks

The HXB's pickups are passive and the preamp is active. If the pickups were active, you couldn't run them in passive mode.

They'll work just fine as drop-in replacements.

No problem, fellow AZ-er. I went back and checked my old HXB 406 pups to make sure I wasn't feeding you false information.

By the way, when is Misanthropy having another show?

Unless they have changed since I bought mine the HXB-406 has EMG-45 shaped pickups, not MK. Bartolini makes them in that size. The MK will be too small. Measure them to find out for sure before you buy.
