6 String Bass Pickups Similar to Rickenbackers

Hi guys,

I have a (maybe stupid) idea to make a custom 6 string replicating the woods, pickups, electronics of a Rickenbacker (not the shape) because I love the tone. I recognize that there are so many factors in tone, but trying to determine how many things I could get similar.

Are there any 6 string pickups that sound similar to Rickenbackers? What makes Rickenbacker pickups unique?

i know bartolini makes a ric style pickup, maybe they make one in a six string version.
