Hey guys I was wondering, I have a 6 string bass Ibanez 406 with DX6 pickups and was wondering if there are other pickups soapbar that will give me a more jazz pickup sound.
don't play 6's but soap is just the shape and there are J's that are simply put in a soap housing. I know EMG does it and probably Bart. You just have to read the maker specs to see what pups they have to fit your routes and what they're made of. I think Nordstrand (and others) will make you anything you want if it's not one of their standards.
