60's jazz bass concentric pot volume/tone rewiring

Sign in to disble this ad
ive got a 2008 american jazz bass im thinking of modding. id like to rewire the controls to that of a 60's jazz with stacked volume/tone knobs. i play my jazz now with the tone rolled completely off and both volumes rolled back equally just a little. would having two tone knobs allow me to cut the highs more than just the single tone control on the standard jazz?

i use dr nickelplated lorider strings

Nope.

Why you just don't change the cap? instead of the .047uF a .1uF?

cool, thanks for the advice, so the traditional tone knob on the jazz bass cuts the highs coming f/ both pickups? why does the higher uF cap cut the highs more?

technical question i know but i find this stuff interesting
