'62 Jazz Bass Reissue

a couple of things. i have MIM Jazz bass and i want to upgrade the pickups. i found some '62 J bass Reissue p'ups on Ebay.

a. how good are they
b. how much are they worth?

sorry for reposting but i just forgot to ask.

can the original bi pole wiring be reconfigured to the standard MIM wiring scheme?
