'62 P Bass Pickup Question

Just a quick question for my bass friends. I am looking to upgrade my MIM P bass. Is the "Fender Original Precision Bass" pickup the same thing as the "Fender Original '62 Precision Bass" pickup?? (I play almost exclusively blues and Motown stuff.)

I'm looking to purchase on-line I see both names used.....some times with the same picture shown and other times the pictures are different (Musicians Friend is a good example). Are these pickups the same thing or are they really different?? If truly different, any opinions on which is "better."

They are (AFAIK) the same pickups, Fender just changed the name a year or so ago.

BTW. They are great pickups, at least compared to the price.

Thanks for the info. That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed something. I am looking forward to installing one.
