Sign in to disble this ad
hello collegues,
for my newest bass i bought 2 preci pu from bartolini that will be installed reversed ( buzzard style) in my bass.
unfortunatly i dont have documentation about the wiring of the pickups themself. they have each one ( every one of the 4 pieces- remenber i have 2 preci PUś) 8 connectors, two of the connectors are bridged. the pick ups are numered 1 to 4 .........
does anyone know the wiring diagramm, or does anyone has tips for more tricks on these sprecial pU's ?????
thank you -----lf-p

hi boys,
wow nobody knew anything about my bartolini pickup probllem........ so i found it out myself.
here is the magic about that for you that might have one day the same prolem:

these old bartolinis in preci shape have each one- a preci is always made of two pieces- two wirings.
one that constitute, in conjunktion with the second part a coverage fr alll four strings and one wiring that ads an overlapping wiring with the second piece, that itself gives an overlapping. i guess this creates an humbucking effect.
so you can wire it, so it is more singlle coil, singe magnet and the other wiring so it ha an humbucking effekt.
of cause the adding of the second spool doubles the magnetism.

how to connect?

the pick up has four points to solder. the two on the outsides are ground and hot; the two inside are out single and bridge/humbucking ground.
imagine the possibillities you have when you own tho of these pickups !!!!!!!

wow.
thats all i can say.
