| Advice needed regarding passive ibanez atk

I've got a passive ibanez atk from the 90s. The bass is great, but could use one of two: Better pickup, or a preamp ? Or possible both, to get the most of this bass.
Does anybody have any recommendations regarding this, pickups or preamp ? |
