Aero J-pickups vs. Delano JC 4 AL

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

Which is more versatile with an Audere preamp? I would put them in a Lakland Darryl Jones. I know that the Lakland pickups in the Darryl Jones are like the Aero pickups, but Aero is the original, and I read somewhere that the Aeros have something to them. Have any of you tried the J-bass Delano pickups?

Thanks

SURPRISE...panda...

I have Delano J paired with their MM hybrid pickup. To me it's a good pickup and it gives more output compared to standard Fender J bass pickup (100% volume on Fender p/u = around 70% of Delano)

How's the sound? Some people I talk to say it's the best pickup they've ever had.
