funny you asked, I bought a pair of Aeros from somebody who was replacing them with Fralins in his DJ4. I think it is a toss up they all sound good, especially live those subtle differences will not be heard

I think Lakland pickups sound very similar to Aeros - not so with Fralins. If I need to say something, I'd say Lakland highs are a tad subdued and lows are a tad more but nothing to write home about.

Note that Lakland was using 500K(Vol)-500K(Vol)-250K(Tone) pots with Aeros, now they're using all 250K. This may be the reason of the difference in the highs I perceived.
