I realize this is technically a pedal, but it functions for me as a preamp, so move this thread if necessary.
I recently put the purchase to a Boss GEB-7 equalizer pedal. I had been thinking of going active with one of my basses and decided to give this unit a try. +/- 15dB of gain at 7 different frequencies. The unit is also very quiet. It was $79 and I can use it on all of my basses, not just one.
