Affordable Squier Special Upgrade?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking to upgrade the pups in my Squier P Special, as I noticed a huge volume and tone difference when I got my new FSR J last week. The P is my backup, and I would like to get some hotter pups in it, but don't want to throw down a ton of coin on my backup. I looked on ebay and saw all the standard duncans, emg's, etc, and a bunch of other stuff I haven't heard of before. What can be had on the cheap?

Dimarzio model P is excellent higher output P pups that are inexpensive to. Just $59 internet store price. Dont buy real cheap pups as that wont give you any upgrade only lost money.
