Aggie OBP-3 and Bartolini ... MK-1's?????

Sign in to disble this ad
Hmmmmmmm.

I have my MTD Z-Bass set up with USA Barts and an Aggie OBP-3. Nice tone but a bit too undefined for me. I already have a killer Jazz tone from a different bass and I'm looking for something with a Sparkly, even grindy high-end.

I have this set of MK-1's lying around and I'm giving some thought to throwing them into the Z bass with the Aggie.

Am I nuts? Has anyone else run this combo with any success?

I think I'm going to try Bart CBCs. Emjazz gave them a good review and he seems to know what he's talking about.
