Aguilar OBP-3 9volt and/or 18volt

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently purchased an Aguilar OBP-3 to mount in a box for use with a passive jazz bass I didn't want to route out.

I'm now to the point where I'm soldering it up and realize all the diagrams show it with 2 9volt batteries in series (18volts) but I was planning on running it at 9 volts.

I can't find anything online that mentions running the OBP-3 at 9 volts. Anybody know if it'll work?

Thanks.

9V is fine with the OBP-3.
