It's easy - you match the correct wire with the corresponding solder point. Are you soldering it up from scratch? Or are you just trying to install it?

Also, they provide a schematic for 5 or 6 different scenarios (in terms of volume, blend, active/passive switch, etc)...which one are you looking at?

What bass are you wiring it to? Cause if it's a Warwick with their little PCBs attached to the pots then you might be in for a reallllll confusing time.

Its actually a hand made 7 string bass, and the pick ups are some aftermarket pups. I believe theyre passive G & B with a bypass switch, the schematics are fairly easy to navigate, but is it possible to wire a bypass switch incorrectly? I mean I sodered everything according to schematics but does the switch need to be wired a certain way?

Yes, the switch needs to be wired a specific way. Is yours just not working? Maybe you have put a jumper across the wrong terminals and are shorting the signal?

The switch needs to be wired according to the signal and before the preamp. The idea is to re-direct the signal through the preamp when it is flipped in one direction, and pass it straight through to the passive tone control (if available) and output.
