| Aguilar OBP-3 installed but with some problems. Please Help!!

Greetings. I just installed an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp in my Warwick Streamer Jazzman, everything is fine except for two things:
-The Treble pot has a very mild effect .. doesn't give that cristal highs, and when everything is flat, the bass is generally opaque.. This is normal in this preamps?
-Now there's a permanent noise in the bass like the sea, the waves you know? like "JJJJJJJJAAAAAAASSSSHHHHHH" .. Why?
