| Aguilar OBP-3 vs. Line6 X3

I building a Gecko at the moment, and thougt I'd go with a Aguilar inboard. But then I'm offered a good deal on a Line6 X3 Live. I dont have the funds for both, so I have to chose one. If I go with the Line6 I would wire my bass passive, with only volum/blend (maybe tone).
How would the preamp in the Line6 compare to the Aguilar?
If I went for the Line6 I could use it on both basses and guitar and for practice at my apartment..
If the Line6 is almost as good as the Aguilar I think I'll go for it..
