Aguilar OPB-1: can you add passive tone?

Sign in to disble this ad
Could you add a passive tone pot down stream of the OPB1, and thereby be able to roll tone off?

I like the 4khz treble boost choice better than opb 2 and 3, don't feel strongly that I need a mid control....but don't like the boost only choice for opb1:
there are times where i'd like to be able to dial in more of a motown sound thru a standard tone roll-off.

Would that work?
Additionally, if that would work...wouldn't it work for opb 2&3 as well?

thx-alan

I didn't look deep enough into the Ag website. They already have it documented:
http://www.aguilaramp.com/pdf/support_wiring_obp1.pdf

They have the same stuff for opb2 and 3 as well...

My 71 Jazz has this configuration, it's great. Best of both worlds IMO.
