Aguilar Pickups for Jazz Bass

Dan atkinson did an audioclip of the aguilar pickups.

Search in the pickup forum and in the bass forum, you'll find it!

They sound GREAT!!! IMHO

I've got em in my Jaguar. They do sound great, very old school, bit of a thump to them, output is about the same as stock Fender pups. Two thumbs up.

thanks, yes i found that audio before...well it will be nice to hear also different pickups in same bass

I recently put a pair in my '62 reissue...

First thoughts are along the same as what others have said:

Definte old school thump and very warm.

I perfer them to the stock Fender pu's.

Not sure how'd they sound in a Marcus, but if I had to guess I would think pretty darn good.

I could do some soundclips later if you want...
