Please let me know what you think- pros and cons of aguilar tone hammer in comparison to eden wtdi preamp/ direct box pedal...... or what do you think about just running through a countryman direct box?
Setup:
Fender 50th anniv. P-bass into Ampeg SVT classic> Eden 2x10/15 cab (85% of time)
Modulus Graphite Quantum/ Tobias Growler into Ampeg (15% of time)........
I need something for live/ studio use. The DI on my Ampeg has always been an issue. I sometimes run a Mutron envelope filter, but usually stay pretty clean. I love the funky punch of the fender but the output isn't quite as hot compared to the bartolini output, so I was looking to beef it up a bit...... What do you think? |
