Aguilar vs. Basslines

Hi,

I am getting a Warwick Corvette Standard Active, but want a new preamp. I'm either getting an Aguilar OBP-2 or the STC-2a. Flea uses Aguilar, but PNut uses STC. I want to know which ones more versitle. I play rock, funk-rock, alternative, Classic Rock, rap-core, and soloing type stuff (Billy Sheehan, Vic Wooten). I'm probably getting custom pickups for my sound too.

I have an STC3a and I nail the Pnut/Incubus sound in my sleep. Never played an aguilar so I don't know how it'll sound. But just know that the basslines will give you the pnut sound.
