Well I had nothing to do the another day so I decided to do some upgrade to my Alembic Excel. I wasn't to happy that my Excel didn't have a passive bypass switch so I went to work on it. What I did find out is that the fatboy pickup do work in a passive mode, so I install a switch, volume and tone control so that when I'm not in the active mode I can still control the Volume/Tone . Every thing went good. You can check what it sound like in passive or active here:
