For all of you who are way more badass...

....than me, could you all help me figure out how to wire my bass? I have a single EMG-HZ soapbar/humbucker that I want to wire just like the attachment (hope it works) but with just DPDT switches, if that's possible. I'm too stupid to figure it out on my own. Thanks everyone.

Hmmm. Sorry about that. Apparently I don't know how to do attachments either here's a pdf file link of it if anyone wants to bother. http://www.siglermusic.com/images/em...Z-35-40-45.pdf It's the first example I want to do with just a single pickup with dpdt switches.

Just turn the volume off and on, the tone off and on. They do what the potentiometers would, but just off and on.

To be more specific they go in place of the pots.

Ground symbols.

FWIW, perhaps I should clarify.
This was a diagram I drew a year ago for a guy that wanted the same setup, but with the resistor to simulate the effect of the volume pot on full.

Did you want a brighter/hotter output, or the sound of volume and tone pots on 10?

There should also be a resistor across the outer terminals of the tone pot, but since he was using 500K pots, the difference between the tone control on full, and just removing it from the circuit is barely noticeable at all, versus the difference between a 250K tone pot on 10, and out of the circuit.

I don't think you understand. I want to go to 11.

Just kidding, but yeah I just wanted the sound of the volume and tone to be on 10.

250K resistor for the volume switch, and another 250K resistor across the outer terminals of the tone switch...
