Alnico with Ceramic on same bass
 

Hello

I think of update my JB with an Alnico in neck position a perhaps a fralin split and an ceramic for the bridge ( Delano or Crel).
Alnico for open and round
Ceramic for punch and precision

On the new Yamaha BB Line we have a mix between alnico and ceramic..
And it sound punchy and round...
