I just had my Fender P bass pickups rewound by Jerry Amalfitano. I found it to be a lot less expensive then buying new pickups and it only took him about 2 days to complete them. He increased the output significantly over the stock ones. Jerry does great work. He scatter winds them by hand at his shop in Texas. I highly recommend him. He also makes great pickups for Jazz bass and other guitars.
