Can anyone post a wiring diagram for a '97 american deluxe p bass? My humbucker is weak and lacking. I dont think its right. I was told to wire it "in series". Can anyone show me that? Thanks

I dont think that that pickup is able to be wired anything other than what it is. You may need to buy an after market pickup to do that.

But quickly, this is what you would need to do if there are 4/5 wires protruding from the pickup

Hope it helps

I believe you are correct. I think there is only two conductors from that pickup.
