Ampeg SVT 3 Pro, Input Jack Replacement

It had been suggested to me to post this question here in this forum. It is my hope that it will be read, and I can remedy this problem.
I have an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro, (Circa 1996) It needs a new input jack installed. My question; is this something that is relatively simple to do on my own? I have a decent understanding of electronics, and can work a soldering iron real good. I am hoping this is all i need. You see, the nearest repair man is an hour and a half away. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.!!

I had mine done at my tech, but he did it in like 2 minutes, and after watching him it's something I'd feel comfortable doing myself next time.

Open the top of your amp chassis and take a look for yourself, and see if you're comfortable with it. If in doubt, go for a drive...
