Amplitube on iPad for Bass guitar

Has any one used bass peddles on Amplitube for iPad. I use it as my only practice set up as im still saving up for the amp. But the peddles on that app themselves cost up to $5. Please suggest!

Check out Jamup XT and the bass expansion pack. Much better amps than Amplitube.
