For the love of god don't buy that stuff. We have had cable threads in both the amps and basses sections in the last week or so.

It's a scam dude. Any cable meeting certain minimum requirements will sound exactly like any other cable. Their is a ton of research and testing that supports this. Anyone with an EE background not directly involved in the marketing of such nonsense will tell you the same thing. I make my own, a lot of people around here recommend Bayou cables. 170 bucks for a 20' cable is insane.

Seriously, there is no reason to spend that kind of coin on a cable. I have a 100 dollar Carver Professional cable with some fancy ends and super-duper wire. (I got it for free from a promotion when I worked at a guitar store) Then I have a 24 dollar MusicMover cable that sounds IDENTICAL. In fact, the Carver cable has some handling noise with passive basses. The 24 dollar cable doesn't.
