Another Compression question...

Hey all!! If I play through a head with a tube in the pre-amp and am looking to buy a rack mount compressor for my rig do I need to get a tube compressor because i have seen them around. What is the difference between them and normal compressors and do i need a tube compressor or does it matter? Thanks!!!
