If the sidewinders sound close to how I imagine (and to the various clips I've listened to 100 times) I will turn around and order two more >_>

This is an idea I raised before, but was not addressed.

That's not realistic at all. This is how I make a living. I'm not doing this on the side with a day job like some small pickup makers.

You can't run a business with no cash flow. Think about that a minute. If any business stopped taking orders, no matter how big they were, they would be out of business in a week.

If would be like you going to work everyday and at the end of the week not getting paid.

At the end of this week most of my backlog will be cleared out.

Is my order part of that batch? Sorry, you didn't get back with me about a more accurate ship date before and haven't responded to my more recent e-mail. Order name was Ryan N.

Most people get paid after working. I brought up deposits.

Who said I'm not working? That's very asinine.

Show me another small pickup maker that takes deposits. Lots of boutique builders build to order.

I do take deposits when I do guitar repairs.

My comment came out the wrong way. I wasn't saying you weren't working. Just stating I don't get paid before I work. I apologize

OK, I see what you meant now. But with something like this people are ordering a product, and then I build the product. I tried a few times to have pickups made already, but then people ordered something else instead, and I had to make those. It's hard to gauge what pickups are popular, and it seems to change all the time. And then parts and resources are tied up in pickups people didn't order.

But after I get past this crunch, I plan on getting a certain amount of some models in stock. Ive been trying to do that with the preamps too.

Cool. Any chances for a 3band preamp?

I have been asked that a few times. I would like to do one at some point. But right now I have a lot going on with regular orders, and I do have a few new pickup models coming out soon. One of those is a very different kind of hum canceling alnico Jazz pickup. The other is the now infamous Wal clone.

I'm working hard to get caught up, so after that I'll try and work on the 3 band. I had done some rough circuit designs a year or two ago and then got side tracked.

I'm a one person operation. My whole setup is probably a lot smaller than most people assume. If I had three of me things would run a lot smoother.

And initially the filter preamp won't be available separately right?

Just got the email!.. but um... I think the shipping address is off (prefer to get them shipped to work).

Any chance to get this fixed before they go out?
