B100KX2 - Stereo tone pot

So I have an Ibanez SR800 with an upgraded SD Basslines preamp. One of the pots has expired and I'm having a helluva time trying to find a replacement. (The pots were original to the late 80's bass and not part of the preamp).

It's a B100KX2 stereo tone pot, used for the midrange control. It's not a push-pull and the odd thing is that the usual 6mm diameter models available are both too narrow for the hole and too short in terms of having enough thread to get through the body and lock from the front side.

I can't find one with the 9mm(?) diameter and am wondering if the stereo capability is even necessary.

Is anyone able to chime in on the best way to replace this?

(Thanks in advance)
