bad sounds

why is my bass distorted? i changed the batteries and now its louder.

Try a different cord or amp if possible. Check power supply

i tried its only on this bass too, any other bass sounds fine. i tried turning the gain pot down, ive lowered the pups and it still goes bzzzzzzzzz
